A clinical internship begins with theater observation and includes the opportunity to work onsite at an integrative medicine and acupuncture clinic. Students who study traditional Chinese medicine also have access to an herbal dispensary. Working with various patient populations enables students to round out their internship for a comprehensive learning experience.
Specializations
Students are also exposed to Japanese medicine studies – studies that permit them to receive a specialized education. This education allows them explore such areas as abdominal diagnosis, heat therapy, contact needling, or the use of intradermal needles for facial acupuncture treatments.
