We are all collectors at heart; at least we use that as an excuse whenever we stand accused of hoarding what, to us, are treasured mementos – but, to the rest of our family, are viewed as junk. Even as kids we have the urge to collect something and, in many cases, we collected coins. It probably wasn’t a serious collection; more likely, we simply put to one side any coin that interested us. Only a few take these childhood hobbies through to serious activity; we thought of it as our coin collection but we had no intention of becoming numismatists (even if we knew what one was).

Maybe You Accidentally Saved Something Of Value

I am now a retiree with greying hair and considering moving out of a house that has become far too large for me to manage. Getting ready for my move to a rather nice (but small) serviced apartment in the center of Seymour involved some serious sorting out. I had to decide which things must come with me and, then, separate them from those that I could comfortably do without.

It was while engaged in this task that I came across an old tin box containing my, so called, coin collection. It brought back good memories and raised a smile at how many useless nickels and dimes I had squirreled away. But, included amongst the junk were 2 coins that my great grandfather had given me when I was very young. One looked like it was gold and the other appeared to be silver and they were both old (according to the dates on them). I had forgotten all about them and had no need to take them with me to the apartment; but, I did wonder if they had any value. Maybe I needed to find somebody who would Buy Rare Coins In Seymour TX – if, in fact, I did actually have rare coins.

As luck would have it, I not only found a dealer who would Buy Rare Coins In Seymour TX; he was also a serious numismatist with a fine reputation for his knowledge of coins and the honesty of his appraisals and prices offered on any that he wanted to buy. I am not telling how much I got for mine; suffice to say, it went quite a way towards my moving expenses.
